KHYBER AGENCY – At least five tribesmen were shot dead and another sustained bullet injuries when unidentified armed persons opened fire at a group of residents of Tirah in Sukh, Kamr Kel area of Tehsil Bara, Khyber Agency. The political administration official on Wednesday told that the victim were belonged to Zakha Khel tribe and were returning back from Tirah when they were attacked. Special Forces Rescue 36 Civilians From Taliban Prison In Helmand TOLOnews.com, Wednesday, 16 November 2016

At least 36 civilians, including children, were rescued from a Taliban prison during a special operation by the Crisis Response Unit (CRU) in southern Helmand on Tuesday night, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a statement on Wednesday. “Those released included children and men. They were rescued following a special operation in Greshak district of southern Helmand province,” according to the statement.
