Why Should Pakistan Be Considered An Ally: Obama by Mir Aqa in Tolo News, Mar 12, 2016 at 19:04

U.S President Barack Obama questions why America should avoid sending its forces into Pakistan to kill al-Qaeda leaders and he silently questions why Pakistan, which he believes is a dysfunctional country, should be considered an ally of the U.S, The Atlantic reported.

In its “The Obama Doctrine” article, where the U.S president talks through his hardest decisions about America’s role in the world, it was stated that Obama also questioned the role that America’s Sunni Arab allies play in promoting anti-American terrorism. He is also irritated that his foreign-policy compels him to treat Saudi Arabia as an ally, read the report.

“As the United States has realized that Pakistan can no more function as an ally to work for Washington’s interest, its prospective towards Pakistan is changing,” said Nematullah Akhgar, a political analyst.

“As we all know that wherever a terrorist incident occurs around the globe, it has somehow links with terrorist groups in Pakistan and it is a matter of concern for Washington,” said Najibullah Mohajir, another political analyst.http://www.tolonews.com/en/afghanistan/24200-why-should-pakistan-be-considered-an-ally-obama
