RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers were martyred in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast on the route of a security forces convoy in North Waziristan on Wednesday.
The IED exploded in Razmak, North Waziristan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Two soldiers Lance Naik Ehsan Badshah, 33, a resident of District Karak, and Lance Naik Sajid Hussain, 30, a resident of District Kurram, embraced Shahadat. “A sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area. The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthens our resolve,” the ISPR said.
