Two army soldiers were killed and four more were wounded in a Taliban attack on a security outpost in the northern province of Baghlan on Tuesday evening, security sources said.
The attack happened on an army outpost in Saif Khan area in Pul-e-Khumri city, the center of Baghlan, the sources said.
The sources said “the Taliban torched an army vehicle and took captive five other soldiers.”
Local health officials said that six wounded were taken to Baghlan hospital following the attack.
Local security officials said two soldiers were killed in the attack and three more were wounded.
The Taliban has not commented on the attack so far.
