In a Taliban attack in Baghlan Province, at least 13 Afghan security forces were killed, and five others are reported, wounded in the early hours of Wednesday morning, local officials said.
Taliban attacked the Wazir Abad and Neyazullah area in PD6 of Pul-e-Khumir in the capital of Baghlan province.
Health officials have confirmed the casualties in the incident, the bodies of the dead have been transferred to a local hospital and were handed over to the families of the security officials.
According to reports, residents and families of the casualties criticized the government for not providing support on time.
Taliban have not yet commented on the attack.
This comes as peace negotiators took a break in Doha, ceasefire remains a huge demand of the national and international parties.
