Shujaat demands APC on Iran-Saudi Arabia rift

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain yesterday asked government to immediately call all parties conference so that a joint strategy could be evolved to help dilute tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

The PML-Q President said the tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran is not in the interest of Muslim Ummah and Pakistan must play role in normalising the relations between the two Islamic states.

He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should call all parties conference (APC) to evolve a strategy to tackle the rift between two Islamic states.

He said the Muslim world is already facing huge problems and could not afford another one in shape of two Islamic states at daggers drawn.

He further urged the other Islamic states to play their role in diluting growing tension between the two states, which would be in the interest of the regional peace.

“Tension between two Islamic countries should end as this would make the region peaceful and increase harmony,” he added.http://nation.com.pk/national/05-Jan-2016/shujaat-demands-apc-on-iran-saudi-arabia-rift
