GWADAR: Security forces foiled a possible terrorist activity in southern Balochistan by killing a suspected terrorist and seizing a huge quantity of arms and ammunition in an operation in the Buleda area of Kech district.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted the intelligence-based operation on the hideout of a proscribed organisation during which a heavy exchange of fire took place between the raiding team and the terrorists.
“A high-value target, responsible for killing innocent civilians, extortion and attacks on security forces, was killed during the operation,” ISPR officials said. One soldier was injured in the shootout and later shifted to hospital.
