26 Insurgents Killed In Faryab Clash: TOLOnews.com, 26 June 2016 10:24

Nearly 26 Taliban fighters and a public uprising commander, who supported security forces in fight against the insurgents, were killed in a clash in northern Faryab province, local officials said on Sunday.

The clash took place in Grzewan district after dozens of militants attacked security forces’ outpost in the area, Faryab Police Chief Sayed Aqa Andarabi said.

He added that tens of Taliban rebels and five public uprising members were wounded in the battle.
