Pakistan, Jordan to hold political consultations on Nov 22: FO report in The Nation, November 21, 2016

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Jordan will hold the inaugural round of bilateral political consultations on Tuesday, November 22 at the ministry of foreign affairs, Islamabad.

The Jordanian delegation, led by Ambassador Nayaf El-Zidan, secretary general of the ministry of foreign affairs, and expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is on a two-day visit to Islamabad. Additional Secretary (Middle East) Tasawar Khan will lead the Pakistan delegation, the Foreign Office said.

The two sides will review important aspects of bilateral relations with focus on upgrading their existing economic and commercial relations. Exchange will also take place on regional issues and international developments, especially the current situation in the Middle East.
