LAHORE: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz will kick start the party’s Gilgit-Baltistan election campaign from Thursday (today).
She will arrive in Gilgit-Baltistan on Thursday on a seven-day visit.
According to the PML-N, Ms Nawaz will land in Skardu and visit Ghawari the same day. She will address a public meeting in Skardu on Friday and in Dambudas on Saturday.
She will also address public gatherings in Ghokooch, Astor and Challas on Nov 8, 10 and 11, respectively.
The PML-N leader will also speak at a rally on her way to Skardu from Shagar.
GB former Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman will host a dinner for Ms Nawaz.
She will travel to Gahkoch on Nov 8 and attend a reception by the PML-N Ghazar district.
During her visit, Ms Nawaz will be briefed on the development projects launched by the PML-N in Gilgit-Baltistan.
She will also meet with party ticket-holders, officials, workers and supporters.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has already been in Gilgit-Baltistan for his party campaign, while the ruling PTI ministers also visited the area for the same purpose.
Recently, Prime Minister Imran Khan had also been to GB on an ‘official visit’ which the opposition termed a violation of the election code of conduct.
