JI’s APC on CPEC western route tomorrow

PESHAWAR – To chalk out future line of action regarding early construction of the western rout of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chapter will hold an all parties conference on November 15.

JI Provincial Ameer Mushtaq Ahmad Khan on Sunday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has not fulfilled his promise on the western part of CPEC as there is no sign of early construction.

He maintained that owing to grave concern of the people of KP, all political parties have accepted his party invitation to participate in the conference.

He said due to the delay tactics in the NFC award and holding of next census, the smaller federating units are feeling a sense of deprivation, adding that it is a prime responsibility of the government to address these issues to remove the reservations of other provinces.

He asked the prime minister to fulfil his promise and start work on the western rout of the CPEC as soon as possible. He mentioned that without provincial autonomy, the country could not achieve developmental targets.

He said JI is going to arrange all party conference on November 15 and in this connection all parties have accepted the invitation to participate in this conference.

Condemning the brutal terrorist attack in the shrine of Shah Noorani in Balochistan, JI ameer said it was an attack to sabotage peace in Balochistan, after functioning of Gawdar Port and CPEC project.

He urged upon Pakistan Army to foil such nefarious design of the enemy and take tangible steps to ensure security of human life and property.http://nation.com.pk/national/14-Nov-2016/ji-s-apc-on-cpec-western-route-tomorrow
