India hiding casualties in LoC attack: Army Report in The Nation, Oct 2, 2016

BHIMBER –  The Pakistan Army on Saturday said that it was “sure” that Indian troops had suffered casualties during their attack on LoC last Thursday, saying India was hiding its losses.

ISPR DG Lt-Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa stated this while briefing reporters in Baghsar area of Azad Kashmir.

Radio Pakistan reported him saying that Pakistani troops have given befitting response to Indian firing on the line of control.
“We are sure that the Indian side would have suffered casualties but it is hiding details in this regard,” he said.

Responding to a question, he said the Pakistani army did not want to move its troops to its eastern border as it was fighting against terrorists at the western border.

“But the military is fully alert to any situation and will respond with full force,” he added.
