IHC wraps up case of released Baloch protesters:

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has wrapped up case of arrested Baloch protesters.

The administration released 34 Baloch demonstrators under the order of the court.

Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the case on Friday.

Counsel Atta Ullah Kundi said, “I am grateful to the administration that it released all arrested Balochs by upholding their words. Only courts are ray of hope in the prevailing situation in the country.”

Justice Miangul Hassan remarked, “The courts are ray of hope. No we don’t know.”

Counsel Atta Ullah Kundi said what change has come in their mood it has come due to implementation of law.

The court should see what illegal actions were taken by police against the protesters.

Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb remarked, “The court does not want such situation is created that aggression may start against them due to us. Pray and hope that all become better.”

Counsel Atta Ullah Kundi said administration should offer apology for keeping Baloch women detained for 24 hours.

The administration should clarify why the Baloch women were arrested. At present it is good that all arrested persons were released. Police should be warned that it should not take such illegal step in future on any direction.

Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb remarked, “If they have been released then it is good thing. We should hope for good. SSP Sahb thank you for your cooperation with the court. This should be done in future as well.”
