KABUL, Afghanistan – Counter Narcotic Police of Afghanistan (CNPA) seized a heroin lab during an operation carried in western province of Herat, said the Ministry of Interior Affairs in a statement Monday.
According to the statement, officials have arrested at least three suspects in connection to the seizure.
“CNPA seized a heroin lab during a search operation in Injil district of Herat. Three suspected drug trafficker arrested in connection to this seizure,” said the MoIA in a tweet.
Meanwhile, the security police nabbed further two suspects over “drug trafficking charges in Salang district of Parwan.”
