Dostum Warns Soldiers Against Negligence: by Aref Musavi in TOLOnews.com, Oct 13, 2016

First Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum on Thursday met with residents of Faryab and Sar-e-Pul provinces where he said any soldier that neglects in their duty will face legal action by relevant organizations.

“We implement the law on all the military personnel. No matter who they are. If they are police chief or head of security or anyone else, we ask them about the security situation and we have the authority to punish them,” Dostum said.

He stated he will eliminate the insurgents from Ghormach district in Faryab and then he will go to Kunduz – where heavy fights are ongoing between Afghan forces and Taliban for the past two weeks.

“Taliban should be fully uprooted from Kunduz. I will not return to Kabul until Kunduz is not cleared [of the insurgent group],” he added.

Meanwhile, Dostum said Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (Raheel Sharif) is behind the increase in insecurity in Afghanistan.

“Pakistan’s chief of army staff, who is going to retire within the next few weeks, is behind the conflicts in Afghanistan. He orders the war and it is good that he is about to retire and someone else is going to replace him,” Dostum stated.

Dostum’s remarks on Pakistan come at a time that according to reports, Pakistan has recently arrested a few senior members of Taliban, including Mullah Ahmadullah Nani, in the outskirts of Quetta, the provincial capital of Baluchistan.http://www.tolonews.com/en/afghanistan/27787-dostum-warns-soldiers-against-negligence
