LAHORE – A report of the Punjab Home Department referring some intelligence inputs in hilarious revelations has identified two killed Daesh commanders for organising the terror outfit in Pakistan.
The report issued on December 24, 2015 identified Hafiz Saeed Khan and Maulana Abdul Rauf as the two Daesh commanders.
However, facts said the two reportedly chief and deputy chief of the terror outfit were killed in different towns located near Afghan border.
Official sources put the blame of faulty or untrue intelligence reports on newly created civilian anti-terror setups which seem to be unable to get real or actionable information.
According to Home Department report, Daesh has appointed Hafiz Saeed of Orakzai as its Ameer in Pakistan.
However, Hafiz Saeed who formerly affiliated with TTP, was killed in a US drone hit on July 10, 2015 in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province.
Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security spokesman Asib Sediqqi said the Daesh chief in Pakistan and Afghanistan, Hafiz Saeed Khan Orakzai had been killed in a US drone strike on July 10 Nangarhar along with 30 accomplices.
“Hafiz Saeed was killed while presiding over a meeting with his comrades,” added the NDS spokesman. Maulana Abdul Rauf spent huge amounts on training activities of the new recruits.
Abdul Rauf had also been taken out in a US drone strike on February 9, 2015. His real and full name was Mullah Abdul Rauf Khadim, which was written in the report as Maulana Abdul Rauf.
The report without mentioning the regions of Afghanistan said 40 to 50 recruits from KP crossed over to Afghanistan and were undergoing training at Daesh camps.
In another funny disclosure about appointment of Amir Mansoor as Daesh chief of Islamabad, the report has no hard evidence to prove the claim.
The report said Amir Mansoor acquired Jehadi training from Mansehra but didn’t mention the period and the training facility. Three cases registered against Mansoor were also mentioned in the report.
In Case FIR No 40 dated C1-07-1993 u/s 324/34 PPC at PS Murree (Settled due to compromise). Case FIR No.70 dated 06-04-1997 u/s 13/20/65 AC at PS Murree (Acquitted). Case FIR No.272 date 07-08-1998 u/s 337/F (1) /337.A (II) at PS Murree (Settled due to compromise).
Officials from a key civilian intelligence agency told the paper the newly created anti-terror networks most of the time picking up docile 4th Schedulers and persons with track record of criminal cases and sometimes on the pointation of their informers who at times identify their opponents to settle some score.
Besides making and issuing faulty intelligence reports identifying as terrorists the persons who have criminal background and missing from the area of their permanent residence due to several reasons.
In some cases the same also connected with religion-related political action which made them solid suspects.http://nation.com.pk/national/08-Jan-2016/daesh-commanders-leading-outfit-from-grave
