NORTH WAZIRISTAN: A policeman embraced martyrdom when unknown assailants opened fire at him in Miramshah here on Sunday, officials said.
They said constable Famran Jan was targeted when he was coming home after performing duty. They added the unknown assailants managed to flee. They also stated that he police reached the site and started investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, funeral of the martyred cop was offered at the police lines. Senior police and district administration officials and locals attended the funeral.
