The government on Wednesday approved the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Anti-Terrorism Unit.

This new unit will have, one deputy inspector general (DIG), two additional DIGs, five superintendents of police, 10 additional superintendents of police, 12 assistant superintendents of police, 75 inspectors, 125 sub-inspectors (armed and disarmed), 140 assistant sub-inspectors (armed and disarmed) and 200 constables.
The unit will have 16 jeeps, 2 swat vans, 8 double cabin pickups, one ambulance, one truck, an armoured personnel carrier (APC), one water canon van, one prison van and 10 motorcycles.http://www.dhakatribune.com/bangladesh/2017/09/20/anti-terrorism-police-unit-approved/
