Against minister: Over 50,000 AJK workers go on strike:The Express Tribune, Jan 9th, 2015

MUZAFFARABAD: More than 50,000 employees across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) began an indefinite strike on Thursday, demanding exemplary action against senior minister Chaudhry Yaseen over his alleged involvement in a brawl and in nepotism.
The legislative assembly session of January 8 was also postponed because of the strike. Hundreds of workers, officers and bureaucrats gathered in front of the Civil Secretariat here and chanted slogans against the senior minister who had scuffled with the principal secretary of AJK premier on Wednesday, allegedly to get a close friend of his allotted an undeserved grade in the government ranks.
