KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah is expected to pay an official visit to Islamabad next month to discuss peace talks with Pakistani officials.
Sources in the unity government told Pajhwok Afghan News the CEO would be visiting Islamabad in response to a formal invitation extended by the neighboring country.
Abdullah would be accompanied by a high-level delegation, the sources said, adding that the trip might take place in the third week of February.
Peace talks, economic cooperation and security issues would be discussed between the two sides.
