SWABI: A constable, who was seriously injured in a terrorist attack earlier this month, succumbed to injuries in Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, on Friday.
Constable Mohammad Tayyab was performing duty at Tordher police station when two unidentified motorcyclists lobbed a grenade at the building on April 9. The policeman along with some civilians was injured.
Tayyab’s death took the number of the police personnel martyred in Swabi during Ramazan to three. Earlier, an assistant sub-inspector and another policeman were martyred when militants lobbed a grenade on their vehicle in Yar Hussain Bazaar……
