Ruling Awami League-led 14-party alliance will hold a rally at Shikha Chironton in Suhrawardy Udyan of the capital on December 19 in protest against the BNP-Jamaat’s “anarchy and anti-state conspiracy”.
Dhaka City 14-party coordinator and AL Presidium Member Mofazzel Hossain Chowdhury Maya came up with the announcement at a meeting of the alliance at AL central office on Bangabandhu Avenue this afternoon.
The leaders expressed their firm determination to continue their sincere support to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a bid to continue the trend of democracy and development.
Presided over by Mofazzel Hossain Chowdhury Maya, the meeting was attended by, among others, Bangladesh Samyabadi Dal leader Sultan Ahmed Biswas, Gono-Azadi League President Advocate SK Sikder, Jatiya Party Joint General Secretary Ejaz Ahmed Mukta and Dhaka City South AL President Abu Ahmed Mannafi.
