NORTH WAZIRISTAN: An army soldier was wounded in a roadside bomb blast near a school in Spinwam tehsil of the North Waziristan tribal district on Sunday.
Officials said a patrolling party of the security forces was in the area when an explosive device went off near a private school in Abakhel village.
A soldier, namely Ramzan Khattak, sustained injuries in the blast.
The injured was shifted to a local hospital. The security forces cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation.
The forces’ personnel often come under attack in Spinwam area.
