At least two civilians were wounded in a roadside mine blast in the east of Kabul on Monday morning, police said in a statement.
The incident happened at around 7:30am Kabul time in Pul-e-Charkhi area in the east of the city, the statement read.
Police did not provide further details on the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
On Sunday, two policemen and an employee of the Defense Ministry were killed in two separate incidents in Kabul.
Hanifullah Safi Sarweyar, an employee of the Defense Ministry, was killed in an attack by unknown armed men Kabul’s police district 12 (PD12) on Sunday morning, Kabul police spokesman Fardows Faramarz said.
In another incident, a policeman was killed in clashes with the Taliban in Qarabagh district north of the city of Kabul on Sunday, according to police.
In a separate incident, a policeman was killed by unknown gunmen in Paghman district south of Kabul on Sunday morning, Kabul police said, adding that “two suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.”
