Afghan National Police foiled an attempted attack in Kabul, after discovering one rocket during a patrol in Paghman district of the capital city, said the Ministry of Interior Affairs Tuesday.
“ANP discovered & defused one rocket during a patrol in Paghman district of Kabul,” said MoIA in a tweet. “The terrorists had prepared the rocket to launch on Kabul City.”
Meanwhile, in several other operations throughout the country, the security officials detected a huge number of explosives and grenades.
“ANP bomb disposal unit detected six roadside bombs planted by terrorists in Sar-e-Pul, Laghman, Nangarhar & Nimruz provinces,” the tweet added.
“As a result of search operation, ANP seized 19 hand grenades in Maimana City of Faryab.” Officials did not provide further details on the operations carried in several provinces. www.khaama.com/anp-foils-attempted-attack-in-kabul-34534/
