B’desh: 2 suspects in AL leader murder case killed in Badda ‘gunfight’, cops say

Two suspects in Awami League leader Farhad Hossain murder case were killed in a reported gunfight with detectives in Dhaka’s Badda area early today.

Deceased Nur Islam and Amit were involved win the murder of Farhad Hossain, general secretary of AL’s Badda unit, Mashiur Rahman, deputy commissioner of Detective Branch (North), told The Daily Star.

Farhad Hossain, 52, was gunned down when he came out of Baitus Salam Jam-e Mosque in North Badda after offering Jummah prayers on June 15.
