Dhaka 😐 BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday promised to unearth the mystery behind the enforced disappearances, and ensure punishment to those involved in the incidents.
“We pledge to uncover the mystery behind the enforced disappearances and ensure punishment to those who responsible by putting them on trial,” she tweeted.
The BNP chief twitted it along with a photograph of the wife and daughter of her party’s missing leader M Ilias Ali, marking the 5th anniversary of his ‘enforced disappearance’.
Ilias Ali, BNP’s the then Sylhet divisional organising secretary and a former MP, went missing along with his driver Ansar Ali on the midnight of 17 April in 2012.
