ISLAMABAD: At least 49 suspects including 8 Afghan nationals were arrested during search operation of law enforcement agencies in the limits of Tarnol police stations here today.
SP Saddar Zone Zeshan Haider told media persons that under National Action Plan (NAP), joint search operation was conducted by Rangers, Intelligent Agencies personnel and police in Sarai Kharboza, Madina Town, Dhoke Paracha, Dhokhe Abbasi and Itfaq colony.
During a door to door search operation, heavy weapons including, two triple two rifles, six guns, three 12 bore pistols, one-nine MM pistol, a large number of bullets and explosive material were also recovered from the possession of arrested people.
The Afghan nationals who failed to produce identity documents were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation while 41 Pakistanis were transferred to Tarnol Police station.http://nation.com.pk/national/01-Oct-2016/8-afghans-among-49-arrested-in-islamabad-weapon-recovered
