Two loyalists of the terrorist group of Islamic State (IS) which is also known by its Arabic name Daesh have been killed by their own explosives in eastern Nangarhar province.
According to a statement released on Wednesday by the spokesperson of Nangarhar police, the incident took place in Mazdaki village of Achin district.
“Two Daesh armed men have been killed and three others wounded in the explosions of their two home-made bombs in the jurisdiction of Mazdaki of Achin district,” states Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal’s statement.
Even though, the Ministry of Defense says they have cleared all villages of Achin district from the presence of Daesh during the ongoing military offensive ‘Operation Shaheen 18’ but it is believed that the group still has a strong presence in the area.http://www.khaama.com/five-militants-killed-wounded-in-nangarhar-explosion-4614
