At least 13 Daesh militants were killed in air strikes by the Afghan Air Force in Nangarhar province, security officials said Monday.
According to officials two other Daesh militants were wounded.
The strikes took place in Achin district of Nangarhar province during an operation in the past 24 hours.
Troops also confiscated weapons during the operation, said officials.
Meanwhile Afghan security forces have killed at least 31 Taliban insurgents in other operations across the country in the past 24 hours, officials added.
203rd Thunder Military Corps said in a statement that they killed at least 23 Talibs in an operation in Janikhail district of Paktia.
