China’s state mouthpiece warned Communist Party officials on Thursday not to “pray to God or worship Buddha” because communism is about atheism and superstition is at the root of many corrupt officials who fall from grace.

The government yesterday reconstituted the International Crimes Tribunal-1 by appointing its chairman and two members after three months of stalemate in war crimes trial.

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) today claimed arrest of two militants of the Neo JMB’s “Sarwar- Tamim group” from Narayanganj’s Rupganj.
The arrestees were identified as Mamunur Rashid Mamun, 34, and Ismail Hoesn, 29, Alap Uddin, assistant director of Rab-11, told The Daily Star.
