Afghan National Army Special Forces have released 59 hostages from the captivity of Taliban militants in southern Helmand province. A statement released by the Ministry of Defense on Saturday morning states that the hostages were released from Taliban hideouts in Nahr-e-Saraj District last night. The press release further states that Taliban had locked up these people on different pretexts who are now at Camp Shorabak or Camp Bastion. The statement does not provide further details.…
